Lately, I’ve realized the scene a hundred times that I woke up with a simple job to do to tidy up my closet and I always enjoyed throwing things out. I have been living with minimalist things around two years. I let go of a huge unless stuff, use goods based on their function, and traveling with the sufficient items. This minimalism life makes me stronger in finding myself and becoming an organized and fulfilling person. This transformation and growth make me want to talk about minimalism. So I’d be introduced to how minimalism can change my life. Here you go!

Minimalism
  1. Decision-making

Almost people start their minimalism by tidying up their apparel. Likewise, I do the same things — choosing which ones are still worth wearing and which are not. As time went on, I also applied the same mindset to all other things of my life like the decision to buy goods. In my behavior, during the process, I asked myself whether this is good and useful? In addition, sometimes I also research the function and benefits of an item from the internet or friends.

I knew it is a tough decision to begin choosing what items can keep for us. Like any other behavior, it also takes practice. The easiest way to start is to organize what is around you.

2. Values

Minimalism changed the life that can bring me pleasure to my life and really means to me. I have realized what my core values are because now I only paying attention to items that are valuable.

3. Saving money

As mentioned above, I took the time to think when purchasing items whether or not the item was valuable. So there is an impact on my quantity consumptions which consumes less than before, so I have increased what I saved.

Taking care of my expenses and making sure that I really need something before I purchase, it has given me a respect for money.

4. Less Waste

A large part of the minimalism that appeals to me is its environmental sides. Because we buy less, so we don’t create as much waste starting from the packaging, product themselves, and remaining usage. I want to save our planet, break the consumerism bubble, and explore a more conscious way of life that produces less waste.

5. Self Develop

Minimalism has changed my life because I can focus on developing myself and pursuing my dreams. The simplification of things in my life has given me space to do what I wanted.

Last but not least, living up to a minimalist lifestyle opens you up to possibilities you only or never dreamed of before!
